An Invitation

Mercury Sent to Admonish is a new recording and live performance project.

It marks the convergence of music and visual practice into a singular experience.

Over the coming months we will be developing a live performance with the people who will help shape it. I’m interested in meeting musicians, recording and mixing engineers, film makers, photographers and other creatives who are drawn to building something from the ground up.

The music to be developed has grown from a body of recordings created under the name as if by remote. Works from this catalogue will be a starting point for the project and can be explored here.

Right now I need a drummer, and a multi instrumentalist with a focus on synths/keys but who is comfortable reaching for any instrument at hand. I’m not looking for weekend warriors. I would prefer to work with people who have passion over polish. I am looking for people who were born to beat the hell out of things and get inside the music. Yeah?
